Beschreibung
Postnatal recovery and re-orientation
The weeks after birth bring many physical and emotional changes. Our postnatal recovery course supports you in rebuilding strength, reconnecting with your body and settling into everyday life with your baby.
The course combines evidence-based postnatal exercises with relaxation and mindful movement. Together we strengthen the pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles, improve posture and explore healthy movement patterns for lifting, carrying and caring for your baby. You will also receive practical ideas for continuing the exercises at home.
Just as important as the physical recovery is the opportunity to meet other mothers. There is space to share experiences, ask questions and talk about topics such as breastfeeding, sleep, babywearing, bonding and the transition into parenthood.
The course includes:
- functional exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles
- relaxation and body awareness exercises
- gentle massage techniques
- ergonomic movement for everyday life with your baby
- professional guidance and exchange with other mothers
You are welcome to bring your baby. Whenever possible, one of our colleagues provides baby care in the same room, so your baby remains close by and you can take part in the exercises while knowing they are well looked after.
As part of the course, you are also invited to attend one additional family workshop (held in German) free of charge:
"Ein guter Start ins Miteinander – Bindung und Beziehung aufbauen" (for first-time parents) or
"Wenn ein Geschwisterkind dazukommt – Bindung, Familie & Partnerschaft gestalten" (for families with more than one child).
We recommend starting the course between 8 and 12 weeks after giving birth.
